“When we first started searching for a celebrant for our wedding, we were a bit stumped. Neither me or my now-husband are religious but we still wanted to have a special and meaningful ceremony. We couldn't think of anyone we knew personally to ask to conduct the ceremony, and we knew it was quite a big ask. At one point I even pondered, do we even do a ceremony? We did a quick Google search and that’s when we found Charlotte. From our very first phone call, our minds were put at ease and we knew we found the perfect celebrant to conduct our ceremony. Our first meeting was so comfortable, we met up with her near our venue and we told her all about our love story and what we had in mind for the ceremony. In the months leading up to the wedding, we had calls in which we discussed finalising the script and also the logistics of the day. Something we appreciated so much was that she liaised with our suppliers to ensure that everyone was on the same page and that everything ran smoothly. Finally the day came. I was so nervous, but Charlotte's calming presence (and of course my dapper groom) put me at ease. The ceremony was absolutely perfect, Charlotte wove our love story together so beautifully and it felt like she truly knew us. She really brought our vision to life, which is that we wanted it to be traditional but also very "us". We have received so many compliments from our guests on how much they loved the ceremony. It was the perfect mix of sentimentality and humour. I cannot thank Charlotte enough for all she did for us and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to make their special day even more special.”
